It’s a shame you’re not trying to do more scud’s because you’ve really become super badass at drawin’ him. Had you been doodlin’ him in the last few years?
Rob, thanks for answering my question about LCN back in the first vlog. I have a question about story… Is this ending to Scud something that you wrote recently? Or is this something that’s been gestating for awhile?
I’m also curious about what steps you take for writing your issues. Do you tend to write things out as a movie script, and then do thumbnails? How much concept work do you do before you start drawing?
I loved Scud, and I was sad when it ended, and then I found your movies and got into them, and now that you’re drawing Scud again it’s like a dream come true.
What can I say Rob! other than, Your shit just keeps getting better! The drawing looks Schrabby delicious! Can’t wait!
I agree with other comments about how your stuff has grown!
Rob… another question: At some point in the series you started a recommended song/play-list for the individual issues; kind of a page-by-page thing. Any chance (and I know you’re extremely busy these days!) you can provide song/play-lists for the earlier issues taht didn’t have it; and for the grand finale? With iPods and downloadable music it’s a breeze to get all the songs cheaply; arrange in order of listening; and then settle in with the Scud Omnibus and a beverage of choice and read/listen to our hearts’ content! Soooooooo, any chance of that happening?

Nice to see a return to some medieval Scud ala #17 – digging the codpiece. Like the belt buckle too – reminds me of a t-shirt in #19? Tidy.

I was thinking about it and given the size of this book it’s gonna be released in two or three seperate volumes kinda like a box set, right?
Rob wrote: April 18, 2007 at 5:32 pm
Like I said in Scud Vlog 1, this will be released in one big book.

You’re the reason I got into comic work, Rob, and now you’ve brought even more to the table.
Damn you for making me get back to work,

Looks like I will be at comic con this year. Not with Scud but with Sarah Silverman and the gang.

Awesome. All the more reason for me to go this year. Are you guys going to show anything from the new season?
