Ha-HAH!! I was hoping you’d post this up. That was HILARIOUS. The only thing missing is when Laura pointed out the sign on the back of the name-cards about how all the content was supposed to be for audiences under 18, and then Agee said shitcunt.
I was at comic-con (got an autographed issue #21 variant from you) and also at the Sara Silverman Panel. You might be interested in knowing that the girl who asked for Sara’s name card did the same thing in the Smallville panel the next day. Also, an audience member in the Smallville panel stated the he saw her do it again in yet another panel. I think I agree with Patton Oswalt in that her dad (or mother) put her up to it. He/she needs to do it as much as possible before their daughter grows up and is no longer a younger adorable girl.
Awesome panel and I’ll be getting the Whole Shebang online (was too late for it on Sunday).
I was there… laughing my ass off… with a woody. It was awesome meeting you, Rob! Thanks for signing my hardcover and my poster… (which I accidently left at the airport! GRRR!) And thank you for taking that picture with me. I felt bad for pulling you aside when you were just trying to mind your own business. But it made my day. So thanks, again. I also had an interesting conversation with Kevin Eastman about you and Scud.
There was a lot more I wanted to say to you there, but I was already making enough of an ass out of myself, and there was a lot of people in line behind me (I was gonna buy your DVD’s, but didn’t want to hold up the line, and I never saw you at the booth after that). And that guy’s camera phone… after snapping the picture, this circular arrow would pop up, and I thought it was saving the picture. But in actuallality it was still taking the shot. < ——I had to explain this, because I felt like an asshole. I feel like an asshole explaining it too, so either way, I’m an asshole.
And I couldn’t find Doug TenNapel anywhere! I heard he was standing in line to buy a hardcover on Friday, but I never caught him. T_T
Anyway, thank you for finishing Scud. I am one happy and content fanboy, and the hardcover is beautiful.
