Rob, will you be at comicon again this year?

I don’t know. I may be shooting… something, hopefully. I’ll probably be just hanging out.

Perhaps they’ll move the Oscars to Comic-Con next year. I saw more movie stuff than comic stuff there last year, and you could hit two birds with one stone.

Sarah Silverman should host the Oscars.

Shooting…”Heat Vision And Jack”, hopefully? :)

Regardless, congratulations on the Oscar writing. Are you gonna let us know what joke/what-have-you, exactly? Or do we have to guess/will it be obvious?

Man, I gotta make it to Comic-Con one year…

how strange… I was sitting down, my wife was watching the Oscars… and in the background I hear here say “Wow, everything is made out of cardboard!”
and so I say to her, “Sounds like their ripping off Rob Schrab”... so I punch up the site and lo and behold… it’s not ripping off if you wrote it :D

also, finally got the Whole Shebang… I forgot how brilliant it all is. My wife wants to read it after I’m done.

That’s got to be the greatest validation of all the draw-less animation as an art form. You’ve hit the big time.

Hollywood’s go-to-guy for drawless animation now?

Just finished reading Issue 24 of Scud. So happy :)

Holy shit. Anyone who knows what you do at all jumped up in their seats there and shouted “That’s him!” when they saw that. Cardboard is amazing, and congratulations.

Did you see the piece on this in TIME magazine? Joel Stein writes about how HE helped write the opening with “three dudes eating Gummi Bears from the minibar. Two of them weren’t even Jewish.” I said to myself, “Hey! Schrab’s not Jewish!” Who were those other mysterious guys? They deserve a congratulations too (except Joel Stein. He already congratulated himself enough in TIME.)
