Snoopy is a Time Lord

While watching “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” it occurred to me that Snoopy’s dog house is very Tardis-like (able to fly, bigger on the inside…). Woodstock is pretty much the perfect companion too. I hunted down snoopy/doctor who images all over the net and cut and paste this together with photoshop.

Rob! Where do we submit our Scud films? I don’t want to miss the deadline.

By email? Link? Maybe I’ve had too much food last few days, but I can’t find a link for the submissions.

Well, I’m making a stand and throwing my submission in right here, right now:

Willy Wonka is also a Time Lord (as endlessly discussed on rec.arts.drwho when I was a much younger nerd and people still posted to Usenet):

    • Is that ginormous chocolate factory really underground? Or is it bigger inside than outside?
    • Great Glass Elevator – quite TARDIS-like (sorta)
    • Are Vermicious Knids just Daleks who learned to live without the armor?
    • Wonka likes to confuse folks with nonsense, as many of the Doctors were prone to; he also seems to rather enjoy putting himself and others in danger, and takes childlike glee in seeing and discovering and inventing new things.

Hey Rob! You think just like I do….did you ever read that one strip, it’s early 50’s Peanuts, where all the kids run out of Snoopy’s house and one of them (Shermie, I think) says “the rec room was great but I wasn’t expecting a pool!” I love that. In fact, I think since the strip was from the fifites and the Doctor started in the sixties, Snoopy’s house actually predates the TARDIS…..

Seriously though, great pic. What do you think about the guy the got to play #11?

And, when are we gonna see a Schrab/Lynch Who Film? I’ve been waiting since Fresh Electric!!!
